The 2010-2011 Flu Vaccine is now available for all patients and family members. The CDC is recommending that you get your vaccine as soon as it is available. The cost of the flu vaccine is $30.00 to cash patients. Flu Mist may also be available in short supply. Please call our office to schedule your vaccination. We are still offering back to school physicals, sports physicals and immunizations in the office. St. Rose Reference Labs is continuing to draw blood in the office on Fridays from 8:00am - 11:45am. Most insurance is accepted through the Reference Lab; if not, your specimen will be sent to the correct facility according to your insurance. We continue to offer diagnostic ultrasound, nerve conduction studies and minor procedures in the office.
Star Family Care is excited to announce some new services in the office as well. We are now offering generic prescriptions filled in the office. Prescriptions can be filled upon check out, no waiting or returning to pick them up. We are able to offer these prescriptions at great prices with the added convenience of no waiting at the pharmacy. Myer's Cocktail IV infusions can be administered to established patients. We have also added diabetic foot care to our list of services.

Side effects have not been reported from this IV infusion when administered properly. Some people report a warm feeling in the center of their body during and after the administration, this subsides quickly.
